Soil Tests
Want to know the growing potential of your garden? A soil test is the best way to find out!
- Free Soil Sample Tubes: Pick up your plastic sample tubes and forms at our office.

If you prefer to use your own baggie of soil, make sure it’s air-dried before sending. Download the Soil Test Form here and follow the instructions.
Water Tests
We also offer water testing for farm, well, and drinking water! Our tests provide a mineral analysis to help you ensure safe and healthy water.

Bacteria Water Test Kits
We also provide Bacteria Water Test Kits for Total Coliform & E. coli testing. These special bottles must be picked up at our office and mailed directly to the Grand Junction Health Department.
- Pick up your bottle: Call us at 970-327-4393 to arrange a pick-up at the Glockson Building.
- Cost: $20 for Total Coliform/E. coli water testing. You must mail your sample on a Monday to ensure it is processed within 30 hours.
